The restrictions will be applicable for one month till November 27th under section 163 of Bharatiya Ngarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023. The move has been initiated considering several parties, organizations trying to create disturbances impacting the public peace.

Suriya’s Kanguva is slated for November 14th release but Suriya has completed the public promotions which is a relief for the team. Nikhil’s Appudo Ippudo Eppudo is announced for November 8th release and the promotions are yet to start. Varun Tej’s Matka is a crucial one for the actor and the film is struggling for buzz. The team of Matka has to restrict themselves to indoor promotions as no permissions would be granted for public events. Vishwak Sen’s Mechanic Rocky is aimed for November 22nd release and the team too has to go ahead with indoor promotions. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is the biggest film of 2024 and the film is announced for December 5th release. The team will have to apply for a public event if the restrictions are lifted after November 27th. If they are denied, Allu Arjun and his team will have to plan a massive event outside Hyderabad or in AP. The other indoor promotions of Pushpa 2: The Rule will not be impacted.
On the whole, the imposed restrictions will disrupt the promotions of several upcoming Telugu releases in Hyderabad.
