The Mokila Police have issued a notice to Raj Pakala, brother-in-law of former Telangana Minister KTR, regarding a party held at a farmhouse in Janwada. The police notice was issued under BNSS Section 35(3), requiring Pakala to appear for questioning and submit address proof along with case-related evidence.
After failing to reach Pakala directly, police officers pasted the notice at his residence in Rayadurgam’s Orion Villas. The notice, signed by the Mokila Police Inspector, warned of consequences for non-appearance.
In response, Raj Pakala filed an emergency petition in the Telangana High Court, claiming the police were attempting to file false cases against him. He requested protection from arrest through his petition. Justice Vijaysen Reddy, who heard the case after the lunch break, granted Pakala a two-day window to appear before the police.
The High Court has ordered Pakala to appear before the police within this timeframe and provide his explanation during questioning. The court will continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
The case has drawn significant attention due to Pakala’s connection to former Minister KTR and the high-profile nature of the farmhouse party investigation.
