Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is back in the public eye, but for a heartwarming reason this time. He has joined a trust to feed monkeys in Ayodhya every day during Diwali, honoring the legacy of Hanuman’s brave army. Akshay has pledged a generous Rs 1 crore to ensure that the festive spirit extends to these furry friends as well. He aims to seek Lord Ram’s blessings by providing for the revered monkeys who played a crucial role in the battle against Ravana. This noble initiative is led by the Anjaneya Sewa Trust, under the guidance of Jagatguru Swami Raghavacharya Ji Maharaj. When approached by the trust, Akshay warmly and generously agreed to contribute, not only committing to the cause but also making a significant donation to ensure the daily feeding of these sacred animals. The founder trustee of the Anjaneya Sewa Trust, Priya Gupta, praised Akshay Kumar’s kindness, noting that it extends beyond just his family and colleagues to the broader community.
Akshay Kumar is not only a generous donor but also a socially conscious citizen who cares about the people of Ayodhya. Akshay is currently finishing the comedy film Housefull 5, which features a large ensemble cast, and is set to release on June 6, 2025. Additionally, Akshay has several other upcoming projects, including Welcome To The Jungle, Sky Force, Hera Pheri 3, Bhoot Bangla, and Jolly LLB 3. He also has a special appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, which will release on November 1, 2024, in time for Diwali.
