Prabhas and Prashanth Neel teamed up for Salaar and the sequel of the film was announced even before the release of Salaar. Telugu360 broke the news that the plans for the sequel are shelved. But on the birthday of Prabhas, some of the biggest trade analysts and media houses announced that Salaar 2 started rolling on the occasion of the birthday of Prabhas. His fans are surprised as the production house did not make any official announcement. The real news is that the shoot of Salaar 2 never commenced and Prabhas did not join the sets of the film. He is focused on Maruthi’s Raja Saab and Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauji.

But the biggest surprise is who is behind the PR stunt of Salaar 2. Prashanth Neel is completely focused on NTR’s film and he has no time for any project for now. NTR’s film is also planned on a massive budget and it will be in production for a year. Soon after the completion of NTR’s film, Prashanth Neel will shift his focus towards KGF: Chapter 3. Yash too will complete Toxic and Ramayana before he joins the sets of KGF: Chapter 3. For now, Salaar 2 is not on cards.
