“From the time I came to Hyderabad I have been relying on Ohmkar Annaiya only. This is my Annaiya’s dream , we love each other a lot. If he tells me to jump from a height I will without evening thinking. I was selected as Mr Kakinada after getting a rank in Eamcet. He is five years older to me, we used to be scared of him, we respect him a lot. I remember asking him in 2003 if I could send my photos to Teja and he said I should wait and it is not the right time, he being very new to Television. He also said I should finish medicine and then try. Even during Aata, in the finals I opted out as Annaiya remarked that the channel people might say that he could be partial to me. I even put on 12 kilos weight, tonsured my head and dressed like Kamal Hassan. It was meant to be a role in Dasavataram. Our father is paralysed, he is a doctor. He is on bed since ten years. Mother and father have been telling us since childhood..do what ever your brother says. My mother feels hurt sometimes because we are both in the same film field, whereas our contemporaries are married and are leading a great life in the USA. But now she is very happy. Mom – Radha, has been born in the Church (so named Mariamma) on Christmas and it is a great coincidence that our film Jatha Kalise released on the same day. We are far more orthodox and strict in our traditions and customs than Brahmins. Coming back to Annaiya, he has been doing everything for me to make this day and movie happen.
