In a major reshuffle, Revanth Reddy Sarkar transferred 21 IPS officers on Friday. Chief Secretary Shanti Kumar released the order effecting transfers of elite police officers.

Among the 21 transferred officers, one officer is of Additional Director General (ADG) cadre, two are Inspector Generals (IGs), two are Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs). While 14 are SP cadre, two belong to non cadre SPs.

Here are some of the key transfers:

Anil Kumar, DG of Telangana Special Protection Force transferred and posted as ADG of Police (Personnel), Telangana. However he will hold Telangana SPF DG post as additional charge until further orders.

M Srinivasulu, who has been serving as Ramagundem Police Commissioner, has been transferred to Telangana CID as IG.

Warangal Police Commissioner Ambar Kishore Jha is transferred to Ramagundem.

Sunpreet Singh 2011 cadre IPS officer, who is serving as Suryapet SP has been promoted to DIG rank and given responsibilities of Commissioner of Police, Warangal.

Peddapali DCP Chetna Mylabathula is tranfered to Hyderabad as SP, Women Safety Wing, Telangana. Kamareddy SP Sindhu Sharma is transferred to Intelligence Wing.

While Hyderabad Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav is transferred to Yadadri Bhongir, young IPS officer Shilpavalli will now take up Hyderabad Central Zone DCP responsibilities.
