Comedian Venu Yeldandi made an impressive debut with Balagam, a realistic Telangana based drama. He is all set to direct his second film which is tentatively titled Yellamma. Nithiin is on board to play the lead role in the film and the pre-production work of the film is currently going on. The shoot of the film will start in May and Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations are the producers. Sai Pallavi was initially approached for the heroine’s role and the discussions were going on. But the actress walked out of the film as she had to allocate bulk dates for her Bollywood outing.

The team now approached Keerthy Suresh and the actress has almost signed the film. Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh worked in Rang De in the past. This would be a deglam role for Keerthy Suresh. The actress too has been waiting to sign an interesting Telugu film from a long time. Ajay – Atul are on board to score the music and Yellamma releases next year. Nithiin will promote his upcoming releases Robinhood and Thammudu before commencing the shoot of Yellamma.
