Popular media houses have been reporting from the past few days that Rajinikanth’s upcoming gangster drama Kabali will feature international star Jet-li for a crucial role in the film. Speaking about the development, Ranjith Pa, the director of Kabali said that they haven’t approached Jet-li for any role. His statement has put an end to all the rumours that are arising in the media.
The current schedule of Kabali is currently underway in Chennai and a car chasing sequence will be shot on Rajinikanth shortly. Radhika Apte is the female and the film features an ensemble cast. Kalaipuli S Thanu is producing the film. Mahadev is the title for the Telugu version.
The audio launch is likely to be held in Malaysia. Santosh Narayanan is the music composer. The film is slated for Summer release.
