Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reacted on the suicide of Rohit Vemula of Hyderabad central university. He said Rohit’s was not act of suicide, but a murder. The CM has tweeted, saying Modi govt is constitutionally duty bound to uplift Dalits. Instead Modi ji’s ministers got five Dalit students ostracised and suspended. It’s not a suicide. It’s a murder. It’s the murder of democracy, social justice and equality. Modi ji should sack ministers and aplogoize to the nation.
In the meantime, UP former chief minister Mayavati also dispatched a two member team to Hyderabad Central University to find out what reason the forced Rohit to commit suicide. On the other side, opposition leader in Andhra Pradesh, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy spoke to the family members of Rohit and expressed his anguish on the incident. He inquired about the incidents happened from the family members. He demanded that culprits should be brought book whoever they were.
