Tata group today expressed interest to join the Telangana government’s flagship program of constructing two-bed-room-houses for the poor. It was conveyed to K T Ramarao, IT and Municipal and Panchyat Raj minister, by Cyrus Mistry, chairman, TATA group.
Ramarao today met with Cyrus Mistry in Mumbai. They held consultations on IT, Industry & collaboration in housing projects. After winning the GHMC election chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that the government would build one lakh 2BHK houses for the poor in GHMC area alone. Tata group chairman is also said to have expressed willingness in investing aerospace sector in Telangana. The group will soon set up a Tata-AEG technology centre at Hyderabad.
