Union labor minister Bandaru Dattatreya urged railway minister Suresh Prabhu to introduce a bullet train between Hyderabad and New Delhi. Dattatreya today called on the Railaway minister at New Delhi and presented a memorandum on the projects to be taken up immediately. He stressed that it was high time Railway department introduced a bullet train between Hyderabad and New Delhi.
He requested provision of Rs 2500 crore for the South Central Railway in the upcoming Rail budget 2016017.
He requested the rail minister to start the second phase of MMTS by allocating Rs 200 crore in the udget of 2016-17. Similarly, he sought extension of MMTS from Bolaram to Manoharabad, Ghatkesar to Bhongir to Yadagiri Gutta.
