No one likes to burn money. Especially when you know that there is no chance of recovering the investment you are putting in. So why then, is Smita wasting so much money on her new private song videos? That is the question that many are asking now in Tinseltown.
Smita recently got back into the limelight with the ‘Baaha Kilikki’ song after many many years of anonymity. The song was received reasonably well. But if you look at the way in which it was shot and the technicians that worked on it, it is easy to see that the cost must have been atleast 10 – 15 lakhs.
Even if the song is a major blockbuster on Youtube, only 2 or 3 lakhs will be recovered at most. Now, Smita has gone ahead and released one more song today. This is apparently a devotional video song named Nirvana Shatakam. Even this song is richly shot.
So, what is the strategy behind Smita’s expenditure? Smita has a successful saloon and health chain across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. She also has a successful food business in Vijayawada. Is she getting so much profit that it doesn’t really matter?
Perhaps, only Smita will be able to answer.
