In what can be said as a biggest shock to the South Indian film fraternity, popular actor Kalabhavan Mani passed away today evening. Aged 45, he started his career in Malayalam films as a mimicry artist and then acted in various Tamil and Telugu films. He is popular to Telugu audience for his roles in Gemini, Arjun, Evadithe Nakenti and Narasimhhudu.
He won various film fare awards and National awards for his acting capabilities. It is learnt that he was suffering with some liver related issues and was admitted in a private hospital in Cochin. He is survived by wife Nimmi and daughter Vasantha Lakshmi. Many noted names from South Indian film industry grieved the sudden demise of Kalabhavan Mani.
