Nagarjuna and Karthi shot for bilingual Oopiri (Thozha in Tamil) and every scene was obviously shot twice. So in this process, Nagarjuna shared that the ease with which Karthi would grasp Telugu would make him feel ashamed.
“He is an amazing actor and I needed his help for saying dialogues in Tamil but not him. It wasn’t easy for me. But the way he used to say lengthy dialogues with ease, I would think how talented he was and would be in awe. I was ashamed that I couldn’t manage the same in Tamil,” says the actor.
Oopiri, a remake of French film The Intouchables, is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by PVP Cinemas. Tamannaah and Jayasudha play key roles in the film.
