Director Nandini Reddy is on a high after the success of the film ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame‘. Like we reported before, she is being swamped with offers now but this talented director is playing is safe for now.
Nandini wants to avoid a mistake that cost her very dearly a few years ago. After the success of ‘Ala Modalaindi’, Nandini Reddy was given an advance by Bellamkonda Suresh. Though she had no story in hand, she accepted it.
Under pressure from the producer, a combination project was set up. A hero and heroine were fixed and a story was then written. The result is ‘Jabardasth’ and it hurt Nandini’s career badly.
Nandini Reddy has learnt her lesson. She is now developing her new story and only when she is completely ready will she be taking an advance this time.
