Star hero Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film is one of the most talked about subjects in recent times. From the past few months, speculations are rife in both media and industry circles about this project. Various filmmakers names were heard to helm this landmark flick, but none of them were officially confirmed.

Chances of creative director Krish Jagarlamudi calling shots for the film are high and it is heard the film will an historical drama which features Balakrishna as Gauthamiputra Satakarni. For this historical character, Balakrishna is honing the horse riding skills and also growing a handlebar mustache. It is believed that Balakrishna is confident that this character will be remembered as one of the characters in the history of Tollywood.

Close sources to Balakrishna revealed that the actor is optimistic of winning an Oscar award after playing the historical character. It is heard that Krish is working on the script and the regular shooting might roll out very soon.
