Social Media can make or break people. The platform that can bring huge exposure to a celebrity can also make him or her look foolish if not careful. A goof up on social media will inevitably lead to memes, satires and tons of trolling.
A young mega hero (technically Allu hero) is finding it out the hard way now. Allu Arjun has always been a very active star on Facebook and he has started using Twitter just a year or so ago. A song from Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardar Gabbar Singh’ was tweeted from his account and no one found that abnormal. After all, Bunny claims to be a Pawan Kalyan fan.
An hour later, these tweets followed. “Oh my god ! Shocking! My son was listening to songs in my phone iTunes a while ago. The next thing I see is Sardaar song in my Twitter acc.
It’s impossible to do it. It took my 10 mins to figure out how he did it. He does’nt know anything on the phone. Just pureeee luck. Unreal.
Should me more careful from now on. I am still in shock ! Really shockeddd
My wife said : Thank god ! It’s was a Pawan Kalyan song ??? imagine if it was someone else’s song ???”.
Now there are a few issues with these tweets.
1) It is plain unbelievable. It is similar to a celeb suddenly deleting his tweets and stating that his or her account has been ‘hacked’ or ‘walked into’.
2) Even if his son really tweeted it, there is no need to explain so much as if something untoward and ghastly has happened. Unless, you want everyone to know that there are issues in the camp.
3)What if someone else’s song was tweeted? What harm will it do if let us say a Tarak or a Prabhas or a Ravi Teja song is tweeted? Is that mortal sin?
Fans and movie lovers have been trolling Allu Arjun for the tweets. Let us hope he stays more careful next time.
