Talent is not enough to make it big in the film industry. The right time, connections and a pinch of good luck are needed to make it big. Perhaps, no one can vouch for this better than the talented Kalyan Koduri, who is yet to taste mainstream commercial success despite coming up with some very melodious songs over the years.
His last film, ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’ , did very well and Kalyan expected the film to generate some very good offers. His wedding song in the film received good popularity. But nothing of that sort has happened and the talented music director is a bit disappointed.
“I have scored some superhits over the years. Be it ‘Aithe’ or ‘Em Sandeham Ledhu’ song. I am waiting for that big break with a big hero. I hope it comes soon”, he says. The talent is evident because Rajamouli and Keeravani rely on him for their background score supervision in big budget films like Baahubali. Rajamouli publicly acknowledged his contribution to Baahubali’s RR and mixing.
Let us hope Kalyan gets the kind of success and chances he deserves.
