Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao met Ratan Tata chairman emeritus of Tata group in Mumbai Wednesday. The minister invited Tata to inaugurate the T Hub building next month. He briefed Ratan Tata about all the digital initiatives undertaken in Telangana and about the largest technology incubator being set up in Hyderabad called T Hub.
Ratan Tata gave some valuable suggestions on how this incubator could leverage the presence of pharmaceutical industry, the defense and aerospace industry to innovate new products for them, the minister said after the meeting.
Tata was all praise for the vision of the government for creating an extensive digital infrastructure and steps taken for digital empowerment.
“I had a great interactive session with Ratan Tata and briefed him on Telangana’s vision in IT. I sought his blessings for T-Hub” Rama Rao added.
Later, Rama Rao accompanied by IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan called on Anand Mahindra, Chairman and MD of Mahindra Group. The possibility of investments by various Mahindra group companies in Telangana was discussed. Minister interacted with Anand Mahindra, and invited to visit to Telangana. Anand Mahindra accepted the minister invitation and he will visit Telangana to discuss further on potential investments. Anand Mahindra Tweeted after the meeting,
