Akkineni Nagarjuna is on a career high with a hat-trick of blockbuster hits. Nagarjuna has won huge critical acclaim for doing path breaking films like Manam and Oopiri. He will now team up with legendary filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao for a devotional film, Hathi Ram, which is based on Lord Venkateswara Swamy.
The pre production work has already commenced and the core members of the team are scouting locations in Kerala and Karnataka. Reportedly, they have zeroed in on Chikmagalur, one of the cooler places in South, to erect a hill set in the surrounding areas. It is learnt that the place has favourable climatic conditions during May and June and the team felt that it will be an ideal place for shooting. They are also exploring a few more places before taking the final call.
Nagarjuna will be playing a saint follower in the film. The regular shooting will commence from next month.
