Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film was officially announced long back. Tentatively titled Kathilantodu, the film is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi. Ace filmmaker VV Vinayak will wield the megaphone for this prestigious project. The pre production work is still going on and Vinayak is yet to lock the final script. It is learnt that Chiru is not completely satisfied with the changes made by Vinayak and this is said to be the main reason for the delay.
In the meantime, Ram Charan has stated that the regular shooting will commence from the first week of May. Charan, who was in Mumbai earlier this week, clarified that the pre production activities are nearing completion and added that they planning to launch the film in May first week and shoot non stop. He added that he is overseeing all the production formalities. On asked whether he will be seen in the film, Charan has refused to comment on it.
Devi Sri Prasad will render the tunes for the film and Charan will bankroll it on Konidela Productions banner.
