Former home minister and MP, Dr Mysoora Reddy leveled serious charges against YSRC President Jaganmohan Reddy’s personality as a political leader. In the four-page letter, he faxed to Jagan, Mysoora was unsparing in his criticism against the leader of opposition. But what is intriguing is why Mysoora Reddy, took so much time to divulge the problems he had been facing in the party.
Following are charges Mysoora made against Jagan:
- Jagan is highly inaccessible. The people who mediated between Jagan and me, days before my joining the YSRC, are nowhere to be seen around now. They are not getting a chance to meet Jagan. Now they stopped showing up at party office as they had been marginalized. It shows what his policy is – ‘use and throw’.
- There is no scope for humanity in the way Jagan looks at things. And the soft corner is unknown to Jagan.
- Jagan behaves like Aparichitudu, the eponymous character in the movie ‘Aparichitudu’. There is no consistency in his opinion. He changes his opinions suddenly without taking anybody into confidence. My ignorance led me to commit a mistake. Now I think it would be honorable to reclaim myself from the wrong I have committed inadvertently.
- The way you (Jagan) have driven wedge among the family members shows that you have no respect for the democratic norms. This type of intriguing used to be the modus operandi of emperors especially among Moguls in bygone eras. Many of emperors dethroned their siblings and fathers to become rulers. This shows how ruthless you are in politics of power.
- By inviting me for breakfast and by creating a situation where I could not talk anything being surrounded by so many leaders, you had intrigued me to join the party. The breakfast news appeared on TV which led to my suspension from TDP and the YSRC general secretary offers me party Kanduva- all happened in a quick succession and there was no time for me to take stock of the situation.
- You have never bothered about greater Rayalaseema. Unable to sit idle in the party without doing anything to the region I come from, I think it would be better to call it quits and settle down in the activity I like more, reading and writing.
- You have never taken the role as leader of opposition seriously. You are least interested to fight on behalf of people. You are too casual to the internal democracy of the party. You are too preoccupied with money matters.
