Director Krish Jagarlamudi is getting ready to direct the epic period film ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role. The pre-production work of the film is in full swing and we have already written about the lavish costumes that are being prepared for Balakrishna.
For one such costume, the team wanted a white fabric that is rich in both texture and sheen. Though many shops and cloth suppliers were consulted, Krish was not happy with the samples that were coming in. Some fabrics that cost more than 10,000 Rs per meter were also sourced but the desired effect was missing.
In the end, an unexpected supplier came to Krish’s rescue. A shop specialising in indigenous fabrics in the old city area had one particular kind of cloth that instantly impressed Krish. And it was not too expensive either. They say the most wonderful things can be found in the most unexpected areas if you look hard and this incident just proves that once again.
The movie will begin rolling from May 9th in Morocco and First Frame Entertainments banner is producing it.
