On the eve of 69th Independence Day,the special task force of Hyderabad Police, which was keeping a watch on old city, detained four suspected Harkat ul Jihadal Islami [HuJI] terrorists. Police said they had been living in India with fake documents.
One of the detained has been identified as Najeed, who is a Pakistani national. Najeed is reportedly staying in India for the past five months and reached city a couple of months ago, according to police.
In the preliminary inquiry police found that Najeed doesn’t have a passport and visa. He is reportedly residing near Chanchalguda jail and allegedly with some plan to create disturbance. Of the remaining suspects, two are Bangladeshis and one a Myanmar citizen. What is the matter of concern, the police say, is the nabbing of Myanmar citizen in the company of Pak and Bangla miscreants.
Currently the police are interrogating Najeed in Hyderabad to extract what exactly there plan is.
Police have launched extensive search operations in city keeping in view the threat calls on the eve of Independence day celebrations in Hyderabad. More details are awaited.
