It is a general practice for remakes that an actor watches the original to understand the character better. More so, to observe nuances and emotions of the character. But guess what, Tamannaah didn’t watch the French film The Intouchables in preparation for her role.

Here’s the reason: “I didn’t want to get influenced in terms of the character and that’s why I didn’t see the film. But I heard a lot about it from people who saw the film and even (director) Vamshi (Paidipally) had his inputs about how I should play the role and so I just followed his guidance,” she explained.

Apparently, she didn’t want to be influenced and wanted to give the character her own spin. Well, it did work for sure.
