Sampoornesh Babu, who calls himself ‘Burning Star’, often makes clever use of social media to stay in the limelight. But right now, the same social media has come back to bite him and the comedy actor has refuted the rumours that are now circulating about his ‘attitude’.
Some news outlets have reported that Sampoornesh decided to boycott the upcoming NATA celebrations in Dallas after the organisers placed his image along with comedians. While the actor is not going to NATA, the reasons for that are very different. We reached out to Sampoornesh’s team and they have given a clarification in the matter.
“The sponsor letter given by NATA is incomplete and with the same letter, two members known to Sampoornesh could not get a visa. When we asked NATA for a fresh letter, they did not respond. Because of this, Sampoornesh did not apply for a US Visa and he is not attending. That is the only reason. The news going around on social media is false”, said his publicist.
Sampoornesh’s upcoming film is ‘Kobbarimatta’, which is a parody just like his first film ‘Hrudayakaleyam’.
