That Brahmotsavam failed miserably at the box-office is well-known. And actor Mahesh Babu seems to have taken it in his stride and even told a few of his fans and well-wishers not to blame the director Srikanth Addala.
A leading English daily quoted him as saying to them, “Don’t blame the director for the failure, as I want to take the responsibility. It was my choice to pick director Srikanth Addala for the film and it’s my error of judgement.”
It’s appreciable that the actor is owning up to the error. But one might note that it was the director who conceived the story and even believed in it. Not just that, he even managed to convince everyone that it was worth an investment. But, it’s good that Mahesh is moving on. There’s no use crying over spilt milk, as they say.
