Gopichand’s Oxygen budget 30 crore,producer AM Ratnam,director Jyothi Krishna

Hero Gopichand has a medium market at best. The actor has not scored any hit that has crossed even the 20 – 25 crore mark in terms if producer share. But for his next movie, the actor is going to be working in a 30 Crore budget movie.

Titled Oxygen, the movie is being directed by Jyothi Krishna and his father A.M.Rathnam is the producer. Anu Emmanuel and Rashi Khanna are the heroines. The film is at an advanced stage of shooting. So far an actor who is yet to breach the 20-25 crore mark, it is too much of a risk to attempt a movie with a 30 crore budget.

Those who are familiar with the project say that A.M.Rathnam is investing money without even thinking for his son, so that he gets to direct with a large canvas. While this is definitely appreciable from a father and son point of view, it is not a wise move in terms of trade.

Let us see what happens with ‘Oxygen’.
