In the latest survey, conducted by an ethnic marketplace Craftsvilla.com, Sania has been adjudged as the “Best Dressed Sportsperson” in the country. She won it hands down by beating other female sports stars like Gutta Jwala, Saina Nehwal. et al.
In the survey, conducted to mark the World Ethnic Day (on June 19, 2016), Sania received 62.9 percent votes to top the list.
Based on a series of surveys conducted from May 20 to June 5, the portal announced the results, according to media reports.
Star shuttler Saina Nehwal, who often incorporates kurtis with denims, took the second spot with 18.8 per cent votes. Squash player Deepika Pallikal came in third with about 9.3 per cent of the votes. Others who feature in the survey are shuttler Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponappa and shooter Heena Sidhu.
