Tollywood grapevine says that Venkatesh is extremely upset with director Maruthi. The two of them are working together for ‘Babu Bangaram’ and the film has been riding a wave of positivity until now. Maruthi shook off his ‘vulgar image‘ with ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ and this was an important factor behind Venkatesh okaying Babu Bangaram. Just when everything was set for ‘Babu Bangaram’, Maruthi’s ‘Rojulu Marayi‘ has come out.
The movie’s script was penned by Maruthi and it has received some criticism at the Box Office. More than the result at the Box Office, Maruthi took a lot of flak for his writing. The vulgar image crept back and the makers of Babu Bangaram are not happy.
Venkatesh is reportedly upset as Maruthi could have waited until the release of Babu Bangaram for the release of Rojulu Marayi. This would not have affected Venky’s project. The actor has a family friendly image and any association with vulgarity is something that Venkatesh likes to avoid.
