In a move to curb the defections into ruling TRS party, Congress is planning to induct a new strategy. The party reportedly decides to appoint an additional working president. Apparently, there would be more competition expected in the congress party.
As current working president, Bhatti Vikramarka, is from the Dalit community, Congress has decided to reserve this post for BC community. Ponnam Prabhakar, Madhu Yashki, Danam Nagendar and Anjan Kumar are in fray for the post. Of late, a large number of defections into TRS have been observed due to internal differences.
In a recent example, Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukendar Reddy openly stated the reason behind his exit from the age old party. He cited differences with TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy as the only main reason. Congress has decided to give the wings for every faction of leaders within the party.
