Well, we’ve reported that several actresses have been considered to play the role of the female lead in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th (or shall we call it 151st) film. The likes of Anushka Shetty have been approached but the busy dates have been a huge barrier.
Well, the search went on till Bollywood with Nargis Fakhri being asked to consider the role. But guess what, she proved to be too much for the budget.
And then again, as we told you earlier, the megastar himself isn’t keen to rope in girls from up north because he feels it would be good to have a girl who understands Telugu so as to avoid inconvenience. Apparently he didn’t really have a great time with his Shankar Dada Zindabad heroine Karishma Kotak because of the language issues.
That put aside, most of the leading heroines are proving to be ineligible (read as worked with son and nephews and so would be awkward) and others are so busy that they can’t allot dates at all (as in the case of Anushka).
Having said that, we hear among the girls is consideration for the lead role was Telugu ammayi, the super model, Sobhita Dhulipala but turns out director VV Vinayak wants a known name to the Telugu audience as it is a prestigious film and would add more recall value.
Well, all that aside, a little birdie tells us that Chiru has left the decision to son Ram Charan and director VV Vinayak and that a decision will be taken by the month end. Well, who do you think will suit all the requirements that this team has?
