Sensational director VV Vinayak occupies a special place in the top list of Tollywood directors. He directed many commercial films in his career and he has good relations with all the actors and technicians in Tollywood. The ace director has been out of track from the past couple of years. His last movie Akhil ended as a huge dud however he has been approached to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film titled Kathilantodu.
The shoot of the movie started recently and is going on in Hyderabad. The movie is a remake of Tamil movie Kaththi and Vinayak along with his team made necessary changes for the Telugu outing. There are talks that Vinayak has been offered the distribution rights of East Godavari district as remuneration for the film. The rights have been bought for a price of Rs 5.5 crores. Vinayak charged Rs 10 crores for Alludu Seenu and he has been paid Rs 12 crores for Akhil.
However he dipped down to half when it came to remuneration for Megastar’s prestigious project. It has been revealed that Vinayak cut down his remuneration as it has been the most prestigious film of Tollywood and even his previous track down made it happen. Ramcharan is producing Kathilantodu on Konidela Production House banner.
