Telangana’s loudest voice is back and once more into the fray. Once ubiquitous Nagam Janardhan Reddy has been silent for some time. Now, he is back with a vow to wage a fight against the KCR’s what he calls anti-people and ant-democratic policies.
A BJP leader still, Nagam Janardhan Reddy announced launching Telangana Bachao Mission (TBM) to expose true colors of KCR- making false promises to the people and conveniently deceiving them.
Though he announced the launch of the mission in April itself, yesterday he inaugurated the office of TBM.
Why, instead of using his party BJP as a forum, is he launching a separate forum?
There has been speculation that he is leaving the party and this is his of leaving the party. But he says he is still in the party. Nagam, former minister in TDP government left the party along with three other leaders in 2011. All later joined TRS, except Nagam. subsequently he joined BJP and lost the 2014 election. Now, people say he is on the way to leave the party and TBM is step in that direction.
While inaugurating the office of TBM, the strongman from Mahabubnagar district said, “On each and every issue this platform will fight against the chief minister KCRs policies. This is not an anti-government mission but it will highlight the issues concerning people. There are about 33 irrigation projects in the state, if we leave out two, the rest of the projects can be completed with a budget of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 crore. But, the CM setting them aside to start new projects with lakhs of crores. Is it not waste of money,” Nagam questioned.
He said KCR failed to do anything worthwhile in the last 15 months. He accused KCR of reducing the government into father-son-nephew government.” This is not the system the people fought for. This looks like Gadi rule of Doras” he said.
He said he had informed about the forum to BJP leadership and this is not against the BJP.
Former MLA Yennam Srinivasulureddy and some other leaders from the district also joined him.
But, what could be certainly said is Nagam Janardhan Reddy will pose himself a new problems to chief minister KCR in the state. Because he has no other work to do except create nuisance to TRS government.
