Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said that the AP government had made full use of cutting-edge technology in Krishna Pushkaralu. Drones, CCTV cameras and video cameras along with other virtual reality equipment were used for the inspection during the Pushkam, said the AP CM. “The government proved its effectiveness by using advanced technology which no media channels had so far used,” Naidu quipped.
Following the conclusion of 12-day Krishna Pushkaralu, the AP CM conducted a thanks-giving meeting to the staff for their efforts in peacefully organising the river fete in the State.
Hailing the efforts of officials from Endowments department, Chandrababu Naidu said that pundits brought awareness among the general public in performing ‘Pinda Pradhanam’, a ritual to pay obeisance to ancestors for the prosperity of family members. They increased sense of responsibility and tradition among the pilgrims, he said.
Thanking the officials of Fisheries, Fire Services and Municipal departments, Naidu claimed that there was no trace of water pollution found in the river. He also hailed the Irrigation department for maintaining water-level without causing problems for the pilgrims in the downstream Krishna.
