Hyderabad: High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad on Friday adjourned the petition filed against the AP’s government’s ‘Swiss Challenge’ till Monday. The petition filed by one Aditya Housing company challenged the State government’s Swiss Challenge mode of construction in the new capital of Amaravati by offering contracts to various foreign companies.

After hearing arguments on Wednesday and Friday, the court gave time to the AP government to file a counter by Monday.

Meanwhile, the opposition parties too opposing it demanding the State government to withdraw from it. The Congress has been demanding to make public all the documents and agreements related to Amaravati. The APCC Congress leadership said that the government failed to convince the High Court through its arguments. The leaders also alleged that the AP government is maintaining secrecy over the agreements and keeping people in dark.
