Chiyaan Vikram has been one of the finest South Indian actors and he even won National award for his outstanding performance for the film Pithamagan. The actor scored massive hits and received critical acclaim for his performance during the initial days of his career but things changed completely in the recent years. All his recent films ended up as commercial debacles and the actor is quite worried now. In the span of last decade (2005 to 2015), the actor scored one hit, Anniyan (Aparichitudu) in the direction of Shankar.
Though his performance has been well applauded, his movies failed to impress the audience. Trade analysts revealed that his market has come down in the past couple of years and his latest outing Iru Mugan turned crucial for the actor’s career. The movie is releasing as Inkokkadu in Telugu which is being directed by Anand Shankar. The actor for the first time is playing a dual role in the film and he is the main antagonist too.
Inkokkadu has been slated for release on September 8th all over and the actor pinned huge hopes on the film. Nayanthara and Nithya Menen are the female leads. Hope the actor will be back with the success of the movie.
