Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt essayed the lead roles in the film which has been directed by Abhishek Varman. As per the latest news, the film is now being remade in Tollywood.
Top filmmaker Karan Johar holds the theatrical rights and he never sold the remake rights of his films. For the first time, he sold the remake rights of 2 States which will start rolling soon. Top director VV Vinayak is the man behind this deal and his associate Venkat Kuncham will direct the film. Abhishek Pictures will bankroll the project and the cast, crew are currently being finalized. An official announcement about the cast and crew will be released soon.
