Chennai: The Madras High Court on Tuesday directed the doctors of the Apollo hospitals Chennai to submit a detailed report on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s health condition by Wednesday.
The High Court was responding to a petition filed by one Ramaswamy seeking a detailed health report of the Chief Minister, who was admitted in the hospital on September 22.
The doctors of the Apollo hospital also readying the report to submit before the Court. According to the latest health bulletin released on Monday evening, Amma was on respiratory support and being administered with antibiotics to treat the infection. The doctors also advised further stay of Jayalalithaa at the hospital to continue the treatment. The senior leaders of AIDMK, who visited the Chief Minister at the hospital, said her health was improving and she would come back home soon.
Meanwhile, scores of Amma supporters and party activists are performing poojas at all major temples for early recover of Jayalalithaa.
In a daredevil devotion in the city, a AIDMK party activist suspended his back from steal hooks in order to pray for the recovering of Amma in RK Nagar.
The State administration continued to slow down since major key decisions are kept in abeyance. The leaders within the party are guessing who would be the next Chief Minister if such situation continues for few more days.
