Chennai: While there is severe suspense over Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s health condition, British doctor Dr. Richard Beale on Thursday visited ‘Amma’ in Apollo hospital in Chennai. This is the second time after he visited and reviewed the health condition of the Chief Minister on October 6th. Following his visit today, an updated health bulletin is expected to be released from the Apollo doctors.
Jayalalithaa, 68, was taken ill and admitted to the hospital complaining dehydration and fever on September 22. Although there were specification mentioned in various health bulletin released but the doctors had so far did not divulge as to what the exact health condition of Amma.
Dr. Richard is a consultant, who is a specialist in care of critically ill patients, was from London, UK.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Finance Minister and Jaya’s confidant – O Panneerselvam has taken charge of the portfolios which were earlier held by Jayalalithaa. The same is also reflected on Tamil Nadu government’s official website.
Jayalalithaa earlier held the portfolios of Public, Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Forest Service, General Administration, District Revenue Officers, Police and Home.
