Khaidi no 150 overseas rights

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film Khaidi No 150, which is being directed by VV Vinayak, is easily the much awaited film this season. A lot has been riding on the film as the pre release business in both the Telugu states is mind blowing. Trade pundits opine that the film has a strong chance of breaking the current records even if it manages to garner an average talk. The craze for the film among the overseas diaspora is equally good.

As reported earlier by Telugu360, popular overseas distribution house Classic Cinemas has snapped the rights for a massive 13.5 Crore. Now, it is learnt from close sources that they have backed out after the lukewarm response from the local distributors. A popular long term distributor came into picture and he also offered the same price, backed out in the last minute. As the release date is fast approaching and any delay in finalizing the distributors might effect the screen count, well wishers of Ram Charan advised to close deal as soon as possible.

So, Charan has decided to bring Mythri Movie Makers, who are going to produce his next film with Sukumar, to distribute Khaidi No 150 in overseas. Mythri Movie Makers doesn’t release films in overseas directly, but they did release few films with the help of local distributors. So, they are now planning a similar strategy for Khaidi No 150. However, we have to wait for an official confirmation regarding this development.
