Young and promising actor Nikhil slowed down after the debacle of Shankarabharam. Exactly after a year, he tested his luck with Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada which released last Friday. With all the films pushed ahead due to currency demonetisation, the makers of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada released the film confidently. VI Anand directed the film and Hebah Patel, Nandita Swetha essayed the female leads. Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada occupied decent number of screens and the movie received exceptional response all over.
The figures grew every single day and Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada collected a share of Rs 6.1 crore (Rs 11 crores gross) which is highest among Nikhil’s films. Nikhil has been quite delighted with the response the film has been gaining and the makers too have been relieved with the applause the film received. Even many Tollywood makers who have been watching the situations across the Telugu speaking states are now relaxed as the audience are now heading back to theatres during the currency crisis.
Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is expected to end up as the biggest hit in the career of Nikhil till date.
