Victory Venkatesh surprised the audience with his ruggish look for his next film titled Guru. Venky preferred to remake Bollywood film Sala Khadoos and Sudha Kongara who directed the original is helming the remake. Venky will be seen as a boxing coach in the film and Ritika Singh will reprise her role from the original. Guru is currently in final stages of shoot and the film has been shot in quick schedules without any breaks.
With huge rush during Sankranthi, the makers of Guru are in plans to release the movie on January 26th during the Republic Day weekend. Venky will be seen a bulky new look in Guru and Santosh Narayanan composed the music. YNOT Studios bankrolled Guru and the audio of the film will be out during the first week of January 2017. Popular actor Harshavardhan penned the screenplay and dialogues for the movie.
