Nikhil’s latest sensational hit Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnadavada delivered a strong performance at the box office in its opening weekend. The film has emerged as the biggest opener in Nikhil’s career. After taking a superb start at the box office on last Friday, EPC continued to dominate the first weekend with solid collections. The film is running with packed houses in both the Telugu states.
In overseas, the film is closing in on half million. According to the latest trade reports, EPC has collected $ 426K till now. The film is expected to continue its dream run in the next couple of weeks as there are no major releases till December 9th(Dhruva release date). Thanksgiving weekend from Thursday to Sunday will give huge advantage for the film to extend its dream run. At this pace, the film is a place to easily cross $800k. A noted overseas distributor opined that he won’t be surprised if EPC comes closer to Million dollar mark due the long holiday weekend and the strong word of mouth. The movie goes on to show the power of content based movies.
