Superstar Rajinikanth is busy wrapping up the shoot of his upcoming film 2.0 which is said to be the costliest ever film in the history of Asia. Sensational director Shankar is the director and the film’s shoot will be wrapped up by the end of this year. Being made on a budget of Rs 350 crores, the makers alloted huge budget for the promotions of the film. The first look of 2.0 has been launched in Mumbai recently and the makers are leaving no stones unturned to make the film look lavish. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar has been roped in to for the role of the lead antagonist and 2.0 gained huge buzz across the Bollywood circles.

Now the latest news is that Shankar is in plans to rope in a leading Telugu actor for a crisp yet interesting role in the film so that the film gets extra mileage. Shankar feels that the actor should help the film and is in search for the right actor for the role. 2.0 has been carrying huge expectations in Tamil, Telugu and Amy Jackson is the female lead. This star’s cameo will sure help the film in promoting extensively for the Telugu version. 2.0 will release during Diwali 2017 in 3D and is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
