Congress leaders in Telangana have decided to convey their protest to the government over public miseries due to demonetization by extending service to people standing in queues at banks and ATMs. On the `Akrosh Divas’, being observed throughout the country on Nov 28 as per the call given by united opposition, Congress workers here are planning to offer drinking water, tea and fruits to the people suffering in queues.
Telangana Congress President N Uttama Kumar Reddy has given a call to the party cadre throughout the state to observe `Akrosh Divas’ by organising protests in various forms in all the districts of the state. He deplored that even after 15 days, no relief is seen in the lives of cash starving public.
More than on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leaders here are focusing their agony towards chief minister Chadnrasaekhara Rao, accusing him of colluding with Narendra Modi. Making it clear that his party is not against checking black money, he said that they are protesting only against modus operand operated by the prime minister.
