BJP President Amit Shah’s schedule meeting with Chinna Jeeyar Swamy has been raising many political eye brows suspecting that this may not be a formal courtesy meeting. After concluding his farmer’s convention at Tadipalligudem this evening, Amit Shah reaching Vijayawada tonight. Before leaving for Bangalore tomorrow morning, he will be meeting the seer at his ashram in Seethanagaram, on the outskirts of the city.
In the contest of growing intimate relationship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chadnrasekhara Rao, observers says this meeting generating political prominence. Though Jeeyar Swamy is having cordial relations with RSS and BJP leadership, he is said to be close to Chadnrasekhara Rao.
He is almost acting like `Asthana Swamy’ of the chief minister, advising him on several crucial matters. Whether it is renovation of Vedadri temple or Bhadrachalam temple, Rao mostly respects Swami’s advices. Swamiji also taken up massive construction activity in Shamshabad, near Hyderabad, for which Chief Minister and his associated are extending all possible assistance.
As part of 1000th birth anniversary of Ramanuja Charya Swami, a great spiritual icon born in 1017 and lived for 120 years, Jeeyar Swamy is constructing world’s largest sitting statue at 216 feet in a park spread across 50 acres of land in Shamshabad, near Hyderabad. The statue symbolizes equality that Ramanuja propounded, which includes 108 Divya Desams (Temples).
As KCR is the only non-NDA Chief Minister wholeheartedly supporting demonetization and extending all possible assistance in this regard, it is learnt that Swamiji’s meeting with Amit Shah may help to take forward this relationship to logical conclusion.
