Superstar Mahesh Babu collaborated with filmmaker AR Murugadoss for his upcoming action drama which is progressing at a brisk pace from the past couple of months. Tipped to be an action packed thriller laced with social elements, the untitled film features Rakul Preet Singh and SJ Suryah in prominent roles. After canning crucial scenes in the busy locales of Hyderabad, the unit is now in Ahmedabad for an important month long schedule.
The unit started shooting in Amdavadi from yesterday and crucial scenes between the lead pair are currently being shot. Speaking to the local media, Tagore Madhu, one of the producers of the film stated that they choose Gujarat to avoid disruptions due to the frenzy crowd which is quite common in Southern states. Madhu said that the people and police of Gujarat are very cooperative for the smooth progress of shoot. He added that they also wanted to explore a couple of eye pleasing locations of North and hence locked Ahmedabad for the crucial schedule. The team will next travel all around Gujarat to shoot at some of the famous places like Vadodara and Gandhi Nagar. This schedule will be wrapped on December 23rd.
The role of Mahesh Babu is kept under wraps and the bilingual is tentatively scheduled to hit the screens for Summer 2017. Harris Jayraj is scoring the soundtrack and Santosh Sivan is cranking the camera.
