The political circles in Andhra Pradesh have taken survey conducted by “Flash Team” for ABN-Andhra Jyothi channel in a lighter way. “How can we expect otherwise?” asked a senior opposition leader. Even TDP circles are also not taking its findings seriously, as the in-house survey conducted by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s family members few months ago fails to brings such rosy political scenario in the state.
According to a former TDP minister, the survey might have conducted under the supervision of TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh. His team has been continuously conducting similar `in-house’ surveys for the party with regard to performance of ministers, MLAs and impact of various government programmes.
According to sources close to TDP, ABN-Andhra Jyothi channel’s Managing Director Vemuri Radhakrishna had a detailed discussion with Chandrababu Naidu reportedly on the contents of this survey, three days ahead of its telecast by his channel.
While “Flash Team” survey projecting that TDP is way ahead of its political rivals and the opposition YSRCP is losing ground in the state, Chief Minister’s own survey and also inputs from his intelligence wing, are reportedly stating the satisfactory levels of people towards his government is better only in about 56, out of total 175 assembly constituencies. Almost all MLAs are facing severe `distrust’ from the public.
It may be recalled that Chadnrababu Naidu conducted a conclave with party MLAs and constituency incharges, where party was defeated in last elections, at Koneru Lakshmaiah Engineering College, near Vijayawada, two months ago. In this meeting, Chandrababu Naidu handed over `progress report’ of each MLA in a sealed cover and cautioned them not to reveal those contents to `any one’. According to sources, that was due to most of legislator’s performance was found far from satisfactory.
