The latest update is that veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam lent his voice for a song. The song is a duet and has been crooned by SPB and Shreya Ghoshal. The veteran singer has been out for a while and he expressed his happiness working for Gautamiputra Satakanri.

Made on a massive budget of Rs 70 crores, Gautamiputra Satakanri has been aimed for Sankranthi release. First Frame Entertainments bankrolled the film and Shriya Saran is the heroine.
